FLEXFOAM 1K
SINGLE-COMPONENT FLEXIBLE
POLYURETHANE RESIN
DESCRIPTION:
Single component, hydrophobic, solvent-free, polyurethane injection system ideally suited for sealing off water in dynamic wet cracks and joints. Reaction with water produces a highly flexible polyurethane foam. Injection using a single component pump. The material should be used with a catalyst in the amount of 6 to 10%.
APPLICATION:
– filling leaking cracks
– stopping water leaks in the structure of concrete that is subject to movement and displacement
– for sealing joints between tunnel segments.
FLEXFOAM 1K
FAST AND DURABLE INJECTION
What makes FLEXFOAM 1K stand out?
The highest quality product FLEXFOAM 1K perfectly fills leaking cracks caused by stress or damage in concrete walls . Thanks to its advantages, such as good adhesion, it perfectly fills, connects and bonds concrete. Its high mechanical parameters and low viscosity allow it to reach the most intricate and difficult to access cracks and fissures . It is also easy to use thanks to the use of a special catalyst, which can be used to regulate the reaction time.
HOW TO BEST USE ALL THE BENEFITS OF FLEXFOAM 1K?
FLEXFOAM 1K single-component resin has many advantages. In order not to lose them, you should observe a few important points. One of them is safe storage. This flexible resin is a very sensitive substance to temperature and humidity. Therefore, the containers in which it is stored should be well secured so that moisture cannot get inside. It is important to avoid many open canisters. It is best to empty each subsequent container completely or pour the leftovers into one barrel. Also, storing FLEXFOAM 1K at poor temperatures can result in problems with the resin maintaining its properties. The appropriate storage temperature is between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius.
HOW TO USE FLEXFOAM 1K?
To use FLEXFOAM 1K correctly, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. The most important step is to maintain the correct proportions of catalyst to resin . This is the most common mistake made during injection. To use this preparation correctly, you need to equip yourself with containers with a measure or an accurate scale. After measuring the resin in a container, e.g. a bucket, add the catalyst, also known as an accelerator or hardener. The amount of added catalyst must be between 6% and 10%. Otherwise, the polyurethane resin will not fully fulfill its properties. We may also have a problem that it will not reach all the cracks and will not fill them, because it will have already hardened and will no longer be liquid.
