GEOFILLER 2K
TWO-COMPONENT, FAST-REACTIVE SILICATE INJECTION RESIN
DESCRIPTION:
Geofiller 2K is a two-component silicate foam, component A of which is a mixture of sodium silicates and auxiliaries, and component B is a mixture of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), isomers and homologues with non-reactive diluents.
APPLICATION:
– making filling and stabilizing grouts under slabs, roads, etc.
– stabilizing gaps in tunnels
– filling gaps in concrete
ADVANTAGES:
After using Geofiller 2K, the material increases its volume, while not absorbing water. It has the ability to adhere to all types of rocks and other industrial materials. This makes it possible to fill cavities in concrete and voids and caverns in the substrate and substructure. It is characterized by a fast action time, which is why it is used in cases where the speed of foaming is particularly important. It is also an antistatic , flame retardant and self-extinguishing product . For this reason, it is used, among others, for the repair of underwater structures and broadly understood structural stabilization (stabilization of cavities in tunnels, stabilization of the area that can be later processed, stabilization and consolidation of the rock mass, soil).
The product sets quickly, guaranteeing an almost immediate effect. In addition, it is friendly to both the environment and the user. It does not emit a sharp odor. The manufacturer pays attention to chemical stability. Geofiller 2K is also suitable for spray applications.
STORAGE:
Geofiller 2K from Cover Technologies should be stored in a dry environment in a tightly closed original container. The permissible temperature range is from +5°C to +35°C. Geofiller 2K components can be used for a period of 24 months.
One standard package contains four items:
1. 28 kg metal drum of Geofiller 2K – component A,
2. 26 kg metal drum of Geofiller 2K – component B,
3. 1350 kg metal drum of Geofiller 2K – component A,
4. 1210 kg metal drum of Geofiller 2K – component B.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The manufacturer supplies components (A and B) ready for immediate use. They should be mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio. A two-component injection pump equipped with a static mixer is used for this purpose. The curing time may vary. It depends primarily on the temperature of the resin, structure and groundwater. According to the manufacturer's recommendations, both components should be stored at a temperature of at least 15°C before application.
