Stabisoil 2K
Two-Component Soil Stabilization and Waterproofing System with Ultra-Low Viscosity
Product Overview:
Stabisoil 2K is a two-component adhesive-penetrating system based on sodium silicate, designed specifically for soil stabilization and consolidation of loose substrates. It consists of:
-
Component A: Aqueous solutions of sodium silicate.
-
Component B: Aqueous solutions of organic substances that harden silicates.
When mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio, these components form a low-viscosity solution that deeply penetrates fine-grained soils, creating a permanently bonded and fully waterproof substrate.
Applications:
-
Soil reinforcement and stabilization during the construction of underground roads, tunnels, and subterranean structures.
-
Consolidation of loose or sandy substrates to prevent settlement and displacement.
-
Sealing of underground facilities, earth embankments, and excavation sites to prevent water ingress.
Key Features & Advantages:
-
Ultra-low viscosity (~20 mPa·s after mixing) for excellent penetration into soil pores.
-
Easy application via both injection and spraying methods.
-
High infiltration capacity into fine-grained materials with wide injection reach.
-
Permanent bonding and consolidation of loose substrates, ensuring structural stability.
-
Exceptional waterproofing of treated soils.
-
Non-hazardous to humans and the environment—no special protective gear required.
-
Non-flammable, ensuring safe usage across various work conditions.
-
Easy equipment cleaning with water, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
Usage Instructions:
Stabisoil 2K components are supplied ready-to-use. Mix components A and B in a 1:1 volume ratio. The optimal method of application is through a two-component injection pump equipped with a static mixer. Alternatively, a single-component pump can be used if the materials are pre-mixed.
Gelation Time (at 25°C): Approximately 25-45 minutes (dependent on structure and groundwater temperature).
Packaging & Storage:
-
Component A: 31 kg metal drums
-
Component B: 25 kg metal drums
When stored in original, tightly sealed containers at +10°C to +35°C in dry conditions, the product remains usable for up to 3 months.
